Why are you passionate about Paintless Dent Repair?
The first time I ever saw paintless dent repair done, I was hooked. It was like getting bit. When I saw that you could massage a dent out of the metal using no paint, no Bondo, in a fraction of the time, I wanted to know everything I could possibly know about it. I ran out and got tools. I worked in a warehouse in Cut and Shoot, Texas, and spent a year working on the municipality contract out there, working on the police cars, the ambulances, the firetrucks, all the different cars that got hail damage in that town. Paintless dent removal, or PDR,  is the best way to repair a dent in a vehicle if the conditions are right. If the paint is not broken, there's no cracked or broken metal, and the braces in the structure are not compromised, then PDR is the most effective, efficient, cost effective auto dent repair method. Paintless dent repair cost is important but know that I can keep the factory finish on the vehicle when you take the dent out matters more. You can keep all of the welds intact from the manufacturer. If you have to take a dent out the roof of a vehicle, and you do a paintless dent removal, or you do hail damage repair on the roof, you actually take the damage out, leaving the factory welds intact. You don't cut the roof off with this type of auto dent repair. There's no hot shards of metal flying around in the cab of the car.
When you’re finished, the value of the vehicle remains because you're not devaluing the vehicle by putting filler or paint on it. You're not thickening the process. Whenever you put your car in a body shop, a few things happen. One, the car's heated up to 400 degrees in a paint booth just to get the paint to cure. A lot of people don't understand that your electronics in your vehicle are only rated to 150 to 170 degrees from the manufacturer. So as soon as your car goes into a paint booth for curing, your electronics can fail and they can void the warranty on them just because it had a conventional dent repair at a body shop.
Now, sometimes that's the only option you have is to use an auto body shop because the condition of the damage does not meet the paintless dent removal or dent repair requirements, right? I've been doing this in Houston, 20 years, so in 20 years I've seen every single sort of paintless dent repair from good to bad to ugly and the reason I absolutely love this is when I hand someone their keys back after having performed dent removal or hail damage repair to their vehicle, the way they feel and the way they look about that repair makes my day, every single time. Their baby, the second most important purchase of their life, normally, right? Three major purchases in your life: home, cars and college. Those three things, right? Well, a home and a car are possessions and if I can restore someone's possession back and make them whole, after it's been damaged and do it without paint, without Bondo in a fraction of the time for a fraction of the cost, then I feel like I'm helping every family that comes here and gets this service performed by our company.
I feel like I'm helping them. I feel like I'm helping them with their finances. I'm helping them to take care of their belongings, take care of the thing that transports their family around and also take care of an investment that they've made in a product that makes them feel good. Most people get a lot of pride from the car or trucks that they own. I know I do. And it's important to me to be able to restore that to them in the best way possible. And the art of paintless dent repair is the best repair you can possibly do to repair a dent if the conditions are right.
