Is Ceramic Coating Good for your Vehicle?
Is Ceramic Coating Good for Your Car?

Answer the question once and for all by watching this video from Ceramic Pro!
Americans have been obsessed with preserving the value of their vehicle since vehicles have been created. And nothing is more true than modern cars like this Porsche 911. The more you can protect and preserve the original look and finish, the better you protect and preserve the value of your vehicle long-term. How are people protecting their vehicles today? Well, the future is now. Like they say, wax is dead. Ceramic coatings are here and they're here to stay, and they will outperform almost any wax or sealant on the market. Let's talk about ceramic coatings. What's available, what's out there. If you look at the internet today, you're going to find literally dozens if not hundreds of knockoff products, claiming to be a ceramic coating. So this one here is a spray on ceramic coating. And simply put, it will outperform a wax in most cases, but it's just not designed to be as durable as a professional grade ceramic coating like Ceramic Pro.
I want to tell you all about the entire Ceramic Pro lineup, so that you understand why it pays to use a professional to apply your ceramic coating. So there's three main criteria that make a ceramic coating amazing. Number one, the ingredients. So almost every ceramic coating on the market is made of similar ingredients. That's silica dioxide and titanium dioxide, in crushed up nanotechnology. So those very small particles bond to the surface and protect longterm. So not only the quality of the ingredient, but also how much silica dioxide and titanium dioxide are in the bottle, will affect the longevity and performance. And lastly is the carrier solvent. So the liquids inside of the bottles. That brings me to the Ceramic Pro lineup. Why are there so many products? Well, there's so many products because it's very important to have an individual product, for each substrate to the vehicle.
So in this lineup we have a product for paint, plastics, wheels, glass, leather, carpets, et cetera. And why is that again? So let's just take a for instance. The glass product, ceramic Pro Glass. Well, pretty easy to guess what this is for. It's for protecting the glass on your vehicle. It'll make your glass stay cleaner longer, be very easy to clean, more often than not you can drive without using your windshield wipers. So what would happen if you put Ceramic Pro Glass on your paint? Well, quite simply, it's just not designed to bond to paint permanently, so it won't last and it won't perform as long as you'd like. Going back to the consumer grade coatings, when you have an all in one all purpose coating, that's designed to protect paint, to protect plastic, to protect wheels, to protect glass, it's, simply put, going to be either very good at one thing and kind of horrible at the others, or just kind of average at protecting all of them.
But when you look at our product line, with something like Ceramic Pro 9H, probably the most recognized ceramic coating in the world, this product comes in a very small bottle like this, and you would be shocked to learn that this little bottle can do up to eight layers or more on one vehicle. So how can this little bottle put eight layers on a vehicle and protect it? That's because it has a very high solid content. So this bottle, if I was to chop off the top and leave it exposed to air over time, it would dry to about 60 to 65% hard clear glass inside the bottle. So what does that mean for you, the consumer? Number one, a product like this is pretty darn difficult to install, and if you tried to do it yourself, you're very likely to cause more harm than good to your vehicle by adding streaks, high spots, low spots that are very difficult to remove.
