Minimize touching your vehicle. A common misconception is that you need to wipe or rub on your vehicle to get the dirt off. With a ceramic coating often just a quick rinse with a pressure washer is all you need. 

The easiest way is to put water on your vehicle. The ceramic coating will cause the water to bead up and roll off the surfaces. The beads of water should be almost round, in shape, due to the high surface tension created by the coating.

It is all about contrast. Anything that adheres to  a black paint surface is lighter in color and therefore is  more visibile than on other paint colors. In addition, swirl marks are more prevalent on black vehicles for the same reasons.

This is directly dependent onow many layers of ceramic coating are applied to the vehicle and how the vehicle is cared for after the coating is applied. I.E. Where is it stored, where it spends most of its time during the day, how is it used, if it is in a harsh environments, how often it is touched or washed. 

Use your hang tag. When you pick up your newly coated vehicle form American Dent you will receive an after car folder that includes a do not wash hang tag. Display your hang tag any time  you leave you vehicle at a dealership, valet, or any place you think they may give you a courtsey wash. This hang tag clearly explains that they can not wash your vehicle without written permission from you because it is coated.
